Labour unions of the Osun State College of Education; Ila Orangun  have insisted that they would not call off their work to rule industrial action until the Chairman of the Governing Council of the institution, Mr Niyi Akande is removed from office.

The secretary of the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union COESU, OSCOED Ila Orangun Chapter, Mr Bidemi Adeboye, stated this while featuring on Frank Talk, Rave Fm News and Current Affairs interview programme.

Mr Adeboye who said he was also speaking on behalf of the two other unions, the Senior Staff Union of Colleges of Education in Nigeria, SSUCOEN and the Non Academic Staff Union, NASU, revealed that members of staff of the college embarked on work to rule on 23rd of august, 2016 after all efforts to resolve the crisis failed.
